The Argonauta Scholars Program

The Earth Shine Institute recognizes young scientists whose exhibits at the Thomas Alva Edison Regional Science and Inventors Fair reflect an understanding of the Lindberghs’ vision of a balance between the technological advancements they helped pioneer, and the natural environment they cherished. These talented young scientists receive a $1,000.00 scholarship towards their college education. Since 2003 (the program’s inaugural year honoring the 100th anniversary of powered flight) has awarded 22 scholarships and four special awards.
