Why? The Poetry Festival, after five years of fantastic success, is spreading its wings and becoming an international program.
In 2003, we did a pilot international edition The Blue Sky, and More, which was a huge success. In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the publication of Anne Morrow Lindbergh's beloved classic Gift from the Sea and the 100th anniversary of her birth in 2006, we will be accepting submissions of student poetry from ages 5 - 17 (pre college or university) from invited schools from around the world.
Submission deadlines will be set to accommodate the different school year calendars around the globe.
We expect to publish the new anthology in 2006.

The April 30th Poetry Reading in Fort Myers previously posted has been postponed until 2006.
